BASICS: Sycamore Canyon Academy, 30 minutes outside of Tucson, Arizona, founded in 2008 and is a program of Rite of Passage. Sycamore Canyon works with private pay youth as well as those funded by the Pima County Probation Department. The typical length of stay is between 4 and 9 months. At the time of visit, Sycamore Canyon housed 28 juveniles.
