Probably three-quarters of the girls have been sexually abused, usually in the form of date rape. It’s always a case when too many drugs and alcohol are involved. Mistakes, you know.
We get to wear what we want here. Nothing too provocative because this is a college campus (William Woods University.) We eat in the college cafeteria, but sit by ourselves as a group. Nobody here is a real flight risk. We get to go to the university library, take art classes and go out a lot. Two of the girls here are mothers. They call all of us “young ladies.”
